A message from Renea

Hello Beloved Community,
My name is Renea, and I am the founder of Touch No More Ministry Inc. I want to take a moment to share with you the deeply personal story that inspired the creation of our organization—a story woven into the fabric of my life, my three children, and the lives of many who walk the path of healing.
It all began with my daughter, who bravely shared her truth with me when she was just twelve years old. I will never forget that day in my home office. I was absorbed in typing an email for work, completely oblivious to the storm brewing inside her. When she approached me with her head down, I could sense her turmoil. “Mom,” she said, “I have to tell you something.” My heart raced, and filled with dread, I thought, “Oh no, is she pregnant?” But what came next shattered my world: “Daddy Junnie is touching me.” Whom my children called their stepdad.
In that moment, disbelief washed over me, quickly followed by an avalanche of pain, fear, and overwhelming shame. I wished it could be a nightmare from which I could awake. Instead, I found myself thrust into a heart-wrenching reality that no parent should ever have to endure. The trust we had in our family, our community, and even our faith was called into question as we faced the unimaginable.
My ex-husband, a respected church leader, perpetuated our trauma in ways I could not comprehend. Our cries for help were often met with silence, misunderstanding, and a cultural barrier that forced us to navigate this painful journey alone. It was then I realized how crucial it is to dismantle the stigma surrounding sexual abuse. I could not allow this cycle to continue. I needed to create a safe haven for others like us—those who were struggling in silence, those who felt alone in this fight for justice and healing.
That is how Touch No More was born—a response to our family story and to the stories of many who are suffering in silence. Our mission is crystal clear: to provide unwavering support, empowerment, and restoration for women and children who have experienced sexual abuse.
Today, we are dedicated to fostering a community where healing is possible and where fear, shame, and stigma are replaced by love, understanding, and collective strength. We believe every person deserves to heal, reclaim their life, and live without the weight of those painful shadows.
As we embark on this journey together, I invite you to join us in our mission of compassion, awareness, education, and advocacy. Together, let us honor the voices of survivors, ignite empowerment, and build a brighter future where healing can thrive.
With love and unwavering commitment,
Renea Lomotey
